'Try Driving In My Shoes' is part of POSTERS FOR A COLLECTIVE RECONCILIATION, a project of 10 posters inspired by the aesthetics of street art and informalist graphic design, that I created in July 2008. This project, a large-format poster installation created using traditional illustration techniques, was featured in the 2008 Shanghai Biennale: TRANSLOCALMOTION, participant of the International Students' Exhibition, an art-and-design show that was held at KIC Plaza in Shanghai, China.

POSTERS FOR A COLLECTIVE RECONCILIATION was the result of a visual research process conducted in Guayaquil, Ecuador. These pieces were subsequently curated to create new material, and 'Try Driving In My Shoes' was selected to be remastered and used as the cover for one of the sketchbooks in a limited-edition collection by the Mauro Rojas brand, launched in 2016.
